What can I donate?

We accept almost any and all donations. However, some vehicles can not be accepted due to age, condition, etc... We accept cars, trucks, RV's, motorcycles, trailers, boats, etc... If you have any questions about what you can donate, please email Kenny Holton or call us at 1-866-788-KIDS (5437) . |

Is my donation tax deductible?
| |
We are 501 (c) [3] classified, and all donations are non-profit tax deductible. Vehicle donors are eligible for a tax deduction on their itemized federal tax return for the full fair market value of their vehicle. For information about eligibility, contact your tax advisor or the IRS. |

What do I need to do to donate my vehicle?

We'd like the title to the vehicle. If you do not have title papers call us anyway, other arrangements can be made in most instances. Secondly, you can contact us by filling out our Web form or calling
1-866-788-KIDS . We will then schedule a convenient pick up time. |

My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?
| Yes you can. However, a vehicle in good condition naturally brings more at auction, and therefore provides increased funding for Raintree Village. In most cases, free towing is available. |

How is the value of my car determined?
| |
We can refer you to the IRS Publication which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. You can read this IRS Publication by clicking on this direct link: IRS web site .
If your donation is worth more than $5,000, you will need an appraisal for tax purposes. We can arrange to have your vehicle valued by an independent appraiser.

How will the car be picked up?
| |
At the scheduled time, we will arrange the proper vehicle to tow your car, boat, truck, RV or travel trailer. |

How long will it take to pick up my car?
| |
As soon as you contact us, we can normally pick up your car within a few days. If you need your car picked up sooner, we can make those arrangements. |
